Comments: Room with 2 single beds, nightstand, fan, and WC with hot water shower, sit-down toilet, and sink. Bath towels are not provided but toilet paper is. Hotel restaurant serves good Thai and Western food. A movie plays during dinner hours. Reception sells discount bus and boat tickets are sold for Thai and Lao destinations. The hotel's 1-page information brochure has complete Laos transport information. It's more accurate than that in any guidebook including LP. We highly recommend anyone entering Laos from the north to stay one night at SP Guesthouse to collect Laos information that is near impossible to get in Laos.
